My friend Joe recommended I try this game because word games are kinda my thing. This game is SO MUCH FUN! I cant stop playing it! If youre into word games then you should definitely give them a try.

I dont mind spending money on a word game. But if I am forced to within 3 minutes of starting a game, I am out. I want to get a few levels before they start begging for my $$ AND making me watch videos for points. I was using 6-8 letter words and after 5 tries, couldnt get past the second challenge. Im out. Delete.

I love word and puzzle game but they can sometimes get a little boring or repetitive. This game is a perfect combination of word game fun with the quirkiness of plants vs zombies.

This game is awesome and my family members are downloading it too. Not sure what BethLee was complaining about in a review a few day ago. You get gems simply by playing the game and after 20 minutes of play you get enough to purchase health and damage upgrades that allow you to continue. Sure they ask you to watch ads, but how else are they supposed to support their programmers? The characters are cute, the timed games are a real challenge and force me to think verbally fast under pressure, which is great exercise for the prefrontal cortex. I only keep two or three games on my iPad and this is one of them and is going to stay around for long time. And if you want to remove the ads its only $2.99 which will work out to less than 10 cents per hour of sheer fun and challenge.

Did not expect for this game to last the day but the whole family plays now

I saw it for my Macintosh first, but I decide to get it for my idevices and it is very fun to play.

Im a Bookworm Adventures veteran too, and while this game is a little different, its still a great blend of word challenges and RPG-style character building. In-game ads are barely noticeable but for $2.99 (US) you can remove them and unlock a lot of optional but cool stuff. Well worth it!

When Beespelled stopped working after an IOS update I was bummed about losing my favorite word game. Now Im glad it broke! This game is way better! My hubby and I love to play it together. My only complaint is that I wish it had a level harder than expert. Other than that it is perfect. Glad I bought it.

If you enjoy word games, this is a wonderful challenging addiction! I loved every aspect of it, especially the gems earned by forming words sometimes under pressure or dictated by the peculiarities of the "monsters." I wasnt expecting much, but once I started I couldnt put it down. My only complaint was that it wasnt possible to get a perfect score. I played normal games with similar results, 118 out of 120 stars. Each time I would "win" the third star in the final set but getting the "v" sign, but when I clicked to continue I didnt receive the third star and couldnt move on to complete the set. I "won" it more than once so very disappointing. Still liked the game so much and Im moving on to the expert level!

I found myself wanting to play a game like Bookworm Adventures, upon seeing this game I thought it was just a poor regular word game ripoff of Bookworm Adventures. Intrigued, I downloaded it and tried it out. I was surprised how fun and addicting this game is! I would recommend this to all of my friends, this is a good game!

I found this game during a night of extreme boredom and need for something different. I thought it would be a typical word game wordbrain... But after reading another review my interest was piqued. After playing it I fell in love with it! Its an amazing game that tests your memory of the many words in your vocabulary with many fabulous twists. Im totally addicted to this game and absolutely love it!

It is not like other games today where you can only play for so long and have to wait for something to refill on a timer. It is just like bookworm adventures. Very fun, cute, and simple game to play. Thank you.

I saw this app on a Vsauce3 video, which I consult for a big chunk of my app purchases. I like word games and decided to give it a shot. Its a good app, and I do like it, but I find that its pretty hard to beat even the most basic of enemies without a cheating device similar to those used to win at Scrabble, or a whole slew of purchases that drain your (IN-GAME) cash supply. I wish that words did more damage, basically. Other than that, its a solid and fun app. Its a good one to kill time with, and trains your brain while youre at it.

This a fun and challenging game.
